Endrick forces Real Madrid to consider €25m offer
Endrick has enjoyed a sensational start to life at Olympique Lyon and his form has raised serious questions over Gonzalo Garcia’s long-term future at Real Madrid.
The Brazil international was unable to break into Xabi Alonso’s preferred starting XI during the first half of the 2025-26 season and he completed a short-term loan move to Lyon at the start of the January transfer window.
Since his arrival in France, Endrick has scored five goals and provided one assist in six matches across all competitions, and the Ligue 1 giants have flown up the table since his arrival courtesy of six consecutive league victories.
The Brazilian’s immense start at Lyon was halted by a red card he received during their 1-0 win over Nantes on Saturday, but Real Madrid officials have still been left thoroughly impressed by the 19-year-old.
Multiple clubs have been linked with a permanent move for Endrick this summer, including Chelsea and Manchester United, however Los Blancos are expected to bring him back to the Bernabeu in order to play a more prominent role in 2025-26, as per Fichajes.
As a result, the aforementioned Garcia is likely to fall further down the pecking order and Real Madrid would be willing to accept a sale.
Gonzalo Garcia to join Besiktas?
The likes of Aston Villa and Leeds United were both interested in signing Garcia last summer, following his exploits at the Club World Cup, but it’s Besiktas who have emerged as strong suitors for his signature in 2026.
It’s claimed that a €25 million offer has been lodged by the Turkish Super Lig outfit, with Real Madrid now discussing a potential sale.
Sergen Yalcin’s side reportedly view Garcia as the perfect centre forward signing, but they are yet to receive an official response from their Spanish counterparts, who are set to analyse Endrick’s form for the remainder of the season before making a final decision.
