Real Madrid legend admits SHOCK possible return to the club
Real Madrid legend Karim Benzema has not ruled out a shock possible return to the club.
Benzema is one of the all-time legends of the Blancos, having spent 14 glory-filled years at the club.
Now at Al-Ittihad in Saudi Arabia, Benzema has surprisingly revealed that it is not out of the question that he could return to the Spanish giants.
What did Benzema say?
“A possible Real Madrid return? If Florentino is still there, it could happen. I could never say to to Pérez," the 37-year-old told AS.
“I’m a Madridista. I feel it in my soul. Madrid is still my city. We’ll see what happens.
“Real Madrid will always be MY team. I still watch all matches.
“It’s the best club in the world, it always has been and will always be."
Benzema joined Real Madrid from Lyon in 2009 and went on to score 354 goals in 648 games for the club.
He won four La Liga titles and five Champions Leagues, while also won the Ballon d'Or.
In the summer of 2023 he became one of the first European superstars to head to the Saudi Pro League, joining reigning champions Al-Ittihad on a free transfer.
He has continued to impress in Saudi Arabia, scoring 46 goals in 75 games and winning the Saudi Pro League.
