Kylian Mbappe RUINS Liverpool transfer plan with Real Madrid demand
Kylian Mbappe has told Real Madrid to sign Bayern Munich attacker Michael Olise next summer, according to reports in Spain.
Olise, 23, joined Bayern from Crystal Palace last year and he enjoyed a sublime debut season at the Allianz Arena, notching 20 goals and 23 assists in 55 appearances across all competitions for Vincent Kompany’s side.
He also established himself as a regular starter in the France national team set-up and his performances for Les Bleus have attracted the attention of Mbappe.
That is according to Spanish outlet Defensa Central, who claim that Mbappe has told Real Madrid to sign Olise next summer as he believes the Bayern star would be a fantastic addition to Xabi Alonso’s squad.
However, the Spanish giants are already well-stocked in forward areas and Olise is therefore not currently considered to be a priority target for Los Blancos.
Olise isn’t the only France player that Mbappe is attempting to recruit as Liverpool defender Ibrahima Konate has joked that the Real Madrid star calls him “every two hours” in a bid to bring him to the Santiago Bernabeu.
Real Madrid to face Michael Olise competition
Although Mbappe reportedly wants Real Madrid to sign Olise next year, Los Blancos will face immense competition for his signature if they decide to pursue a move as multiple top European clubs are also eyeing a potential deal.
Liverpool, in particular, are interested in signing the 23-year-old as their long-term replacement for Mohamed Salah, whose contract at Anfield is due to expire in 2027.
Chelsea are also long-term admirers of Olise, although the recent signing of Estevao Willian and the presence of Pedro Neto may block the possible addition of the France superstar.
Olise has four years remaining on his current contract at Bayern Munich and his Estimated Transfer Value (ETV) stands at €79 million.
