Man Utd and Liverpool beware: Real Madrid to enter Moises Caicedo race

Brighton midfielder Moises Caicedo has been attracting interest from England and Europe’s top sides over the course of the season so far after a fine start to the season.
Caicedo has made an impact for Brighton this season and is on the radar of several clubs across Europe, and some in England as well.
Manchester United and Liverpool’s interest in the Ecuadorian is well known and they have been considering a move for him for quite some time.

Now, they could have a serious problem, as it’s being reported that Real Madrid are also keeping tabs on the youngster and see him as an option for the future of their midfield.

Real Madrid have been building a young side, having already brought in the likes of Aurelien Tchouameni, Eduardo Camavinga, Vinicius Jr., Rodrygo and Federico Valverde in recent years.
According to Fichajes, Caicedo could be next in line for a move to the Santiago Bernabeu and they see him as the successor to the legendary Luka Modric, who could leave Real Madrid in the coming seasons.

The Spanish and European champions have been impressed by Caicedo’s physical presence and technical quality and see him as the ideal fit for their team going forward.
Other than Caicedo, other names like Jude Bellingham, Florian Wirtz, Enzo Fernandez and Bruno Guimaraes have all been linked as possible options for the club.

Caicedo signed from Independiente del Valle in Ecuador in 2021 and has spent time away on loan, before getting a starring role for Brighton this season.
Because of his form, age and potential, there is a big price tag set on the Ecuadorian, with some suggestions that they would want around €85 million for him.
He has three years left on his current deal, putting Brighton in a strong negotiating position, and they could give him a new deal soon, with a substantial wage rise to further extend his stay.
