In 2015, Bayern Munich extended their kit deal with Adidas until 2030 for a reported sum of €900million.

The sportswear giant owns an 8.33% stake in the German club and the deal extended the longstanding partnership between the two.

And Bayern will be confident the 2021/22 jerseys will witness silverware after a blistering start under new manager Julian Nagelsmann.

Football Transfers takes a look at the threads Bayern Munich will be wearing on the pitch this season with home, away, third, goalkeeper and even an Oktoberfest fourth kit.

Bayern and Adidas have produced a kit that is quite different from the previous year's attire.

This season the club have combined the traditional Bayern 'true red' with a darker 'craft red' - similar to the 2015/16 kit.

White is used for the logos, sponsors and the famed Adidas three stripes for the accents of the shoulders.

And the 2021/22 strip is the first to feature a new fifth star on the badge, awarded after the club won their 30th title.

The away kit does not include any stars above the badge as this is reserved solely for the home strip.

The black and gold coloured strip features the Munich coats of arms on the back rather than the Mia san mia text that comes with the home strip.

The strip is mainly black with the gold-metallic font used for the numbers, names and the three-stripe at the shoulder again.

The top is accompanied by black shorts and socks with the gold-metallic rims completing the look.

This kit has been designed to bring back 90s vibes and has a mountain graphic design as its feature.

The print shows the snow-capped peaks of the Alps, located not far from Munich.

The graphic is complemented with red on the stripes, the logo, the club crest and the sponsor.

The back of the shirt is plain white with the sleeves finished off with a dark navy that also shades the player names.

Manuel Neuer continues to be the man between the posts for Bayern and this season he will wear a blue kit with white logos.

And this new orange top will hopefully inspire the rest of the squad to glory.

Bayern Munich’s 2021-22 Oktoberfest kit

The famed Oktoberfest beer festival was cancelled in 2021 due to the pandemic, but that didn't stop Bayern from releasing this festival inspired fourth kit this season.

It's a dark green strip with a metallic-gold trim similar to the away kit.

The club crest has a unique and decorative detail around it that is inspired by the traditional Bavarian costume worn at Oktoberfest.

The strip is hoped to "shorten the wait until the 2022 Wiesn" and is not the first time the club have released such a kit. They had a similar idea for 2013/14 away strip.

How much will Bayern Munich’s kits cost and where to buy?

Adult kits for all four strips are selling for £70 on the Adidas website with the youth shirts going for £50.

The goalkeeper kit, being a long sleeve, is slightly cheaper at £41.25.

The kits are available both online and in club stores as well as on the Adidas website and in stores, and can be bought in most major sports and football retailers.
