Atletico Mineiro’s Rubens is wanted by Dynamo Moscow.
The Russian club have offered a proposal to the player but they have reached an impasse because his current club are unwilling to let him go until December, when the Brazilian league concludes.
Dynamo wants Rubens for the summer window and so far negotiations are stuck.
The deal is thought to be €5million for 70% of the 22-year-old’s economic rights.
The Brazilian joined the youth academy of Mineiro in 2016, winning the Campeonato Brasileiro Sub-20 title four years later.
He has so far played 69 times for the club, netting two goals in that time.
Rubens plays as a left-back but is also a capable midfielder.
