Virgil van Dijk gifted West Ham a chance in Liverpool’s Premier League encounter with West Ham.
In the opening stages, the centre-back had the ball in possession, but for some reason made his pass right into the path of Jarrod Bowen.
The Hammers did not score from the mistake - but supporters online spoke about the incident nonetheless, tearing into the Reds legend for the mishap.

West Ham take the lead
And it wasn’t long after that Lucas Paqueta opened the scoring for his side with a fine strike from outside the box.
Ahead of the game, Jurgen Klopp heaped praise on West Ham, saying that they are where they are owing to injuries and poor luck.
“If they can go through the season without big injuries then they can play some super stuff like they did last season. We have to uncomfortable to play against. It's an away game and thank God we won one of those recently.
