Paulo Dybala recalled the time he played alongside Cristiano Ronaldo at Juventus and told the superstar that he ‘hated; him’.

Indeed, in an interview with 'La Gazzetta dello Sport, the Argentine forward, who now plays for Jose Mourinho’s Roma, said that when he was younger, he ‘practically hated’ the Portuguese international.

The Argentine international star said: "I had three good years with Cristiano. The team was very strong and he gave us something more. Dybala continued: "One time we were going to play, I was at the back of the plane and he was sitting at the front. At some point in the flight, he came to talk to me about football and stuff. We talked about our lives and I told him I practically hated him when I was a child. We laughed about it and we always had a good relationship and a good dialogue.”

Ronaldo left Juve back in 2021 - with Dybala leaving not too long after. So far this season the 29-year-old has still posted an impressive 25 goal contributions in 34 matches.

While Ronaldo is playing in Saudi Arabia after failing to find a club in the wake of his bombshell interview with Piers Morgon that led to him being dismissed by Manchester United.

Viral footage at a match showed Ronaldo raging at his own bench after his Al-Nassr side trailed 1-0 in the Pro League.

But Ronaldo has 11 goals in 14 outings for his current side so far this season, already becoming one of the club’s key players this term.
