The Chelsea attacker featured against the Three Lions for their Euro qualifier against Ukraine.

But his performance has been panned by opposing fans, who have highlighted the vast sums of money that the Blues paid for the attacker who was hooked off halfway through the second half.

Mudryk signed for Chelsea in the January window for an initial €70 million, plus €30m in add-ons. It was a move that surprised many given how set he seemed at one point to be joining Arsenal.

The Blues swooped in and now he is playing his football at Stamford Bridge. But it seems that Arsenal fans have had the last laugh for his abject display, especially when up against Bukayo Saka.

Mudryk's relationship with Zinchenko

It comes after he teased compatriot Oleksandr Zinchenko by telling him London is ‘blue’.

But the Ukraine international insists Zinchenko helped him adjust to his new life in the city even though they play for rival clubs.

Mudryk added: "He helped me a lot.

“I like him so much. We often joke about Arsenal, Chelsea and what colour is London.

“But I like this guy, he’s very funny, very kind guy. We spend some time with him and always in positive vibes.”
