Christian Pulisic has risked the wrath of Chelsea fans on social media after he posted a picture of him catching up with his American compatriots from the Leeds team that had just beat them.

Pulisic, who was a second-half substitute in the 3-0 loss, posted a picture with Leeds duo Tyler Adams and goalscorer Brenden Aaronson with the caption 'us', much to the fury of some Chelsea fans.

The trio have more than 100 caps between them despite all being under the age of 23 and they will likely feature together for the US national team in the upcoming World Cup.

Pulisic is on course to leave Stamford Bridge this summer after finding regular first-team football hard to come by, with Manchester United among the teams interested.

And it appears some fans will be glad to see the back of Pulisic, with Blues' supporters leaving comments such as 'he's done at Chelsea' and '3-0 loss and this is what we get.

The ill-timed post comes after Pulisic's father liked a tweet claiming that Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel' destroys players' and it appears the player's bridges may be burned at the club.

What does the future hold for Pulisic?

Chelsea are looking to offload at least one of their attackers in the final week of the transfer window, with Callum Hudson-Odoi set to join Bayer Leverkusen on loan.

Hakim Ziyech is also being lined up by Ajax as a replacement for Antony, who is potentially Manchester United bound, but Pulisic could head to Old Trafford if their move for the Brazilian falls through.

It is unlikely that Chelsea would let Pulisic, Ziyech and Hudson-Odoi leave, although the Blues are still negotiating with Barcelona for Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang which could give the green light to some departures.

Pulisic is also believed to be wanted by Milan, Juventus and Newcastle among other teams, meaning he is unlikely to be short of suitors, but it is unclear whether any deals are imminent for the American.
