Romeo Beckham, the second child of England icon David Beckham, has signed his first professional contract in football, joining Fort Lauderdale in America’s USL League One.
The club is the reserve outfit of Inter Miami, the MLS expansion side owned by former Manchester United-great Beckham, which was established in 2018 and joined the competition last year.
Beckham has been training with both Inter Miami and Fort Lauderdale over a two-week period before putting pen to paper on his first contract.

It is the first step that Beckham will take into forging a career in professional football having played in academies in England previously.
