Inter may be about to lose one of their prized youngsters this summer with striker Martin Satriano attracting interest from other elite sides around Europe.

The Italian giants only signed Satriano from Uruguayan side Nacional in January of 2020, but he has hit the ground running in a new continent, albeit with Inter’s youth sides.

Though the Nerazzurri are naturally keen to keep hold of the young wonderkid, the club’s current financial situation means that they may not be able to knock back a significant offer.

The level of the clubs interested in Satriano, as you’ll see in the section below, highlights how highly-rated the 20-year-old is already despite his short time in Europe.

Several elite sides were actually interested in him while he was still playing his trade in Uruguay, but Inter eventually won the race for his signature.

Comparisons, fairly or unfairly, have already been stated between Satriano and Sergio Aguero, but this is more due to their on-field characteristics and how they move and play rather than their successes by the age of 20.

Satriano is built enough to hold off the tackles of defenders, but while still holding that burst of pace to get beyond them. However, he is close to six-foot-two, so can be a real danger in the air also. The entire package makes him a potentially devastating forward.

As a wanted striker, his finishing ability is also naturally excellent.

He has an outstanding record at Primavera 1 level as he has scored eight goals and recorded six assists in 18 matches so far.

Satriano is yet to make his debut for the Inter first team, but rumours coming out of Milan suggest he could do before the end of the current campaign.

Manchester City, Chelsea, RB Leipzig, and Paris Saint-Germain are just a few of the clubs credited with an interest in Satriano, though this number will probably increase if he available for a knockdown price.

He could actually turn up at City to replace Aguero as the Argentine will be leaving at the expiration of his contract this summer.

As for Chelsea, they will be on the lookout for a new number nine as Olivier Giroud will probably leave, while Timo Werner has been underwhelming since his transfer from RB Leipzig.

Speaking of Leipzig, they have yet to really replace Werner despite the acquisition of Alexander Sorloth from Crystal Palace.

Speaking to Sportsmail, he previously revealed he was “flattered” by the interest shown in him from Premier League clubs in particular.

“It is always flattering (the interest from the Premier League),” he said.

“Yes, it is a sign that I am doing things well and that I have to continue down that path. I try to use it as an incentive to keep working and be better every day.

“The Premier League is the No.1 league in the world in terms of competition, that I think all the players want to play, I think all the teams are very good. It is a very competitive league where any team can beat anyone.’
