Robert Lewandowski has scored the most league goals in Europe in 2021, having scored a quite astonishing 43 times in the Bundesliga from 34 appearances.

Lewandowski lifted the European Golden Shoe last season and his goalscoring form has been consistently brilliant throughout this calendar year.

As of December 19, 2021 the Bayern Munich star has scored 43 league goals at a rate of a goal every 68 minutes.

The second-best scorer in 2021 is Fiorentina striker Dusan Vlahovic, who has 33 goals in 2021, having enjoyed a breakout year in Serie A.

The Serbian giant is expected to make a big-money transfer in 2022 and he has found the net every 111 minutes for the Italian side.

Erling Haaland is third on the list with 31 league goals in 30 games.

Haaland is averaging a goal every 89 minutes and he would have had more but for a recent injury in November.

The fourth-best scorer from Europe’s top 10 leagues in 2021 is Real Madrid’s Karim Benzema, who has 28 goals from 36 games at a rate of a goal every 105 minutes.

In fifth is Lionel Messi. Despite his poor start in Ligue 1 with PSG, Messi still has 24 goals in 31 games at a rate of a goal every 108 minutes.

Andre Silva, Kylian Mbappe, Cristiano Ronaldo, Ciro Immobile and Mohamed Salah complete the top 10.
