Kai Havertz enjoyed acclaim for his performance in Chelsea’s 2-0 over Borussia Dortmund.
The German converted from the spot to double Raheem Sterling’s effort and see the Blues into the quarterfinals of the Champions League.
It has been a torrid campaign for the youngster, but his display on Tuesday night has made some fans question whether he should really be leaving the club in the summer.
Havertz missed his initial penalty, hitting the post.
But the referee asked for a retake, with too many bodies being in the box when he struck the ball.
It was a contentious decision, but those at Stamford Bridge didn’t mind as Havertz buried his second attempt, in what was almost a replica kick.
Chelsea have spent like half a billion on new forwards and Kai Havertz is still the most talented forward at the club.

Havertz to stay?
The win is significant as it gives Chelsea something to hold onto as they come to the tail-end of what’s been a terrible term.
The future of Graham Potter has been questioned, but now it’s back-to-back wins for the former Brighton manager.
A fourth-place spot in the Premier League is probably out of sight., but Chelsea remain in Europe’s biggest competition after their victory over BVB.
The Blues spent big in the January window and still a number of players have uncertain futures - including Havertz.
But things are starting to look up for the side in recent weeks following successive wins.
