Real Madrid have continued their pursuit of Endrick during the World Cup break, according to reports.

According to Marca, Los Blancos sent officials to Sao Paolo days before the World Cup to discuss signing the youngster.

Endrick recently signed professional terms with Palmeiras before becoming their youngest player and goal scorer.

It is believed that he has a release fee in his contract, though this is dependent on certain levels being reached. He could cost as much as €60 million when the time comes to move on.

According to Fabrizio Romano, there are three clubs pushing the hardest to win the race for the player.

Where will Endrick go?

PSG

PSG have signed many Brazilian players in the past, and even now have a couple of influential members of their squad from the South American nation in the form of Marquinhos and Neymar.

Signing a young player like Endrick and turning him into a superstar would be something of a departure from their policy of signing established talent, yet it would be in line with their decision to make their transfer policy less ‘bling-bling’ in the future.

Chelsea

Todd Boehly’s plan for Chelsea is for them to sign young players on extremely long contracts in a style reminiscent of American sports.

To that end, Endrick would be exactly the type of player who would pique the Blues’ interest. He is young and represents an investment for the long term.

Although the Blues are crying out for an attacking reinforcement immediately, FIFA rules mean that Endrick will not be able to move until he is 18, so this urgent need should not be taken into account.

Real Madrid

With Karim Benzema coming to the end of his career, Real Madrid need a new superstar forward, particularly after being knocked back by Kylian Mbappe in the summer.

Endrick could be just the man, albeit Los Blancos will probably need a bridge option should they move for the teenager.

The 16-year-old need only look at the success of Vinicius Jr and Rodrgyo to see how strong Real Madrid have been at plucking players directly from Brazilian football and transforming them into world-leaders.
