Christian Pulisic’s future at Chelsea has been unclear for a while, with the American star not widely considered a starting figure for the Blues.

Pulisic was frustrated about his lack of game time when Thomas Tuchel was the head coach and he hoped matters would change when new boss Graham Potter took over.

However, there hasn’t been much of an improvement in that regard in the short time since, and he could well be looking for a move out of the club at some point in the near future.

Now, other clubs are paying attention to his situation and could be lining up a move for the former Borussia Dortmund man, with one Premier League side particularly keen.

Pulisic attracting Premier League interest

According to Todomercato Web, Pulisic will be looking to force a move when the transfer market opens once again after the World Cup this winter.

The 24-year-old started off well at Chelsea but has seen seasons since plagued by injury issues, but wants more regular game time having proven himself on occasion at the Blues.

Newcastle United are one interested club that would be keen to take on Pulisic, and would reportedly be willing to offer up to €45 million for the American star.

Earlier this season, journalist Fabrizio Romano made it clear that the Magpies were very keen on brining Pulisic to St. James’ Park and this move could be a real possibility.

He said: “Newcastle were obsessed with Christian Pulisic. They wanted him on loan, but not on a permanent deal. They wanted him on loan, maybe with a buy option, not mandatory. And this is why Chelsea decided to say no.”

Other than Newcastle, Italian outfit Juventus were also keen on signing Pulisic, and the player himself has had glowing reviews about Turin from national team-mate Weston McKennie in recent weeks.

It remains to be seen where this saga will end up as the player is still keen on a move and a few clubs are interested, but will have to fork out a big fee to sign him.
