Real Madrid willing to meet Zubimendi demands

Real Madrid are prepared to pay Arsenal's asking price for Martin Zubimendi in January, Sport writes.

The Spain international has become the subject of transfer speculation since losing his place to Myles Lewis-Skelly, with Real Madrid and Chelsea said to be among the clubs keeping an eye on his situation.

Arsenal had no intention of allowing Zubimendi to leave in the summer, but the midfielder could push for a move in January if the situation doesn't change. It is claimed that Arsenal would demand around €70 million for Zubimendi in the winter.

Chelsea to bid for Kone

Chelsea are expected to make another bid for AS Roma midfielder Manu Kone in January, Tuttomercatoweb claims.

The Blues saw a €60 million offer rejected late in the summer window, with Roma insisting that the France international was not for sale. With Chelsea also failing to sign Lamine Camara, they will likely dip into the midfielder market in the winter.

Kone is among their top targets as they do not want to revive their Camara deal after Monaco pulled the plug at the last minute. Liverpool are also interested in the Roma star, however.

What now for Richarlison?

Richarlison is expected to remain at Tottenham until January, according to AP (via Sky Sports)

The Brazil international has been omitted from Spurs' Premier League squad, but he has failed to secure a transfer over the past two weeks. Vasco da Gama offered him a return to his home country on Friday, but they failed to agree personal terms before the deadline in Brazil.

As a result, the expectation is now for Richarlison to stay put despite not being eligible to play. A contract termination could yet be a way out of this mess, but Tottenham do not want to let him leave for nothing after receiving sizeable offers this summer.

Arsenal, Chelsea eye Rajkovic

Arsenal and Chelsea are among the clubs to have compiled exhaustive scouting dossiers on Valerenga youngster Gabriel Rajkovic, as per TEAMtalk.

The 15-year-old became the youngest debutant in Eliteserien history earlier this year, breaking Martin Odegaard's record. A versatile attacker, his game time is steadily increasing, and he has already scored two senior goals.

This has attracted the attention of numerous suitors, most notably from the Premier League. Arsenal and Chelsea scouts watched him bag his first goal against Bodo/Glimt in early August. However, he can't move to England until he turns 18 in February 2029.

Maatsen extension close

Ian Maatsen is on the verge of signing a new contract at Aston Villa, Fabrizio Romano reports.

The Dutchman is set to commit his long-term future to the Birmingham club, who were keen to show their appreciation for his development with fresh terms. Maatsen will be a hugely important player for Villa going forward.

During the summer window, the Villans rebuffed an approach from Man Utd for the left-back because they had already lost Lucas Digne to PSG. Because of his new contract, Maatsen will not be available next year.
