Arsenal are reportedly ready to back Mikel Arteta in the transfer market by signing Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, Marc Casado and Valentino Livramento this summer.

The Gunners are in pole position to claim their first Premier League title since 2004 following a thoroughly impressive English top flight campaign, while they are among the favourites for Champions League glory after a 1-0 victory over Sporting CP in the first-leg of their quarter-final tie.

Despite this, the hierarchy at the Emirates Stadium have no plans to rest on their laurels and they are ready to spend big yet again ahead of the 2026-27 season.

Several stars are expected to be sold in order to raise transfer funds, including Gabriel Jesus, Ben White and Ethan Nwaneri, with Arsenal eager to bolster their options in defence, midfield and attack.

FootballTransfers understands that Arteta is keen to raid Newcastle United this summer, with Anthony Gordon, Sandro Tonali and Valentino Livramento all on Arsenal’s transfer radar ahead of the upcoming transfer window.

Interest in Livramento has been confirmed by multiple outlets, including Spanish publication Fichajes, who also claim that Arsenal have drawn up a plan to sign the aforementioned Casado and Kvaratskhelia this summer.

Arsenal eye €280m triple signing

Casado, 22, has been a bit-part player for Barcelona this season, after rejecting the opportunity to leave in 2025, and it has been widely reported that Hansi Flick’s side would be willing to sanction a sale if they receive a bid worth €30 million.

Meanwhile, Kvaratskhelia has emerged as an ambitious Arsenal target in recent weeks amid his immense form for Paris Saint-Germain. However, Luis Enrique’s side have no intention of selling the Georgia superstar and rumours speculate that an offer of at least €180m will be required to sign him.

In addition, it’s understood that Newcastle will demand roughly €70m to sanction the sale of Livramento this summer. As a result, Arsenal will likely need to cough up €280m if they are to bolster their first-team squad with the signings of Kvaratskhelia, Casado and Livramento ahead of the 2026-27 season.

Despite the level of investment required, however, all three players would help the Gunners’ squad depth improve massively, with Kvaratskhelia, in particular, the perfect signing to elevate Arsenal’s potency in attack.
