The 18-year-old notably netted a stunning goal during Chelsea’s 3-0 victory over Barcelona in the Champions League last month, while he also scored a dramatic last-minute winner against Liverpool back in early October.

The talented teenager was wanted by virtually every top European club before Chelsea reached a pre-agreement with his previous club Palmeiras last year and his form so far this campaign is being monitored by a number of teams across the continent.

Barcelona and Real Madrid have both been linked with a spectacular move for the Brazilian, but it is Manchester City who have now firmly registered their interest in his signature.

That is according to a report from Spanish publication Fichajes, who claim that Man City are willing to lodge a €120m bid for the Chelsea winger.

The eight-time Premier League champions have been closely monitoring Estevao’s progress over the past few months and it’s understood that Pep Guardiola is a keen admirer of the 18-year-old.

Man City unlikely to agree Estevao transfer

Despite Man City’s interest in Estevao, a deal remains incredibly unlikely due to his current contract situation at Chelsea.

The Brazilian’s deal at Stamford Bridge runs until 2033 and the Blues have no intention of allowing the winger to depart.

He is viewed as a key part of their future project in west London and Man City are therefore expected to suffer disappointment in their pursuit of his signature next year.

Instead, the Etihad Stadium outfit could rekindle their interest in Real Madrid star Rodrygo, who has been widely tipped to leave Los Blancos in 2026 after falling down the pecking order since the appointment of Xabi Alonso.
