Man Utd make new offer for wonderkid to replace injured Sesko
Manchester United failed with a second offer for Real Madrid wonderkid Endrick in the aftermath of Benjamin Sesko's injury.
Globo Esporte reports that following Sesko's injury against Tottenham at the weekend, United made a new approach for Endrick.
Sesko suffered a knee injury and, while it is not believed to be serious, it could still keep him on the sidelines for a sustained period of time.
United have thus started looking around for a potential replacement, and they maade a second offer to Real Madrid to bring in Endrick on loan in January.
Endrick rejects Man Utd
The Brazilian wonderkid will leave Madrid on loan in January as he is well down the pecking order at the Santiago Bernabeu.
However, Lyon are in advanced talks for Endrick and the attacker is keeping his word to join the French side.
The transfer will be a loan with no option to buy.
Real Madrid want to stay in control of the player as they have not yet given up on him. Endrick also believes he can still make it as Madrid.
Madrid considered loaning out the teenager during the summer transfer window but ended up keeping the attacker for the 2025/26 season.
However, Endrick has endured a miserable start to the current season and played just 11 minutes of football in all competitions.
Real Madrid still maintain their belief that Endrick can become a top player after he scored seven goals last season, but he will have more playing opportunities away from the Spanish capital.
He has been linked to a number of other top European clubs, including Juventus and Milan.
But it appears as if Lyon are set to win the race for his loan signature.
Endrick hopes that a good second half to the season will also give him a chance of making it into the Brazil national team squad.
Endrick joined Real Madrid from Palmeiras in 2024 for a fee that could eventually reach €72 million.
At the time he was considered the brightest young talent in Brazilian football.
He has won 14 caps for Brazil and scored three times.
