Juventus superstar set to snub Premier League interest
Juventus superstar Kenan Yildiz is reportedly expected to snub interest from Arsenal, Chelsea and Manchester United in favour of signing a new long-term contract in Turin.
The Turkey international still has four years remaining on his current deal at the Allianz Stadium, and reports in Italy suggest that he will opt to reject the advances of Premier League suitors during the 2026 summer transfer window.
Yildiz, 20, has scored two goals and provided four assists in eight appearances across all competitions so far this season, and it’s understood that Arsenal, Chelsea and Man Utd are all open to matching Juventus’ €100 million (£86.81m) asking price.
However, Italian outlet Tuttosport have now revealed that Yildiz “only wants Juventus.”
He is locked in contract extension talks with Igor Tudor’s side and it’s believed that Juventus are confident of finalising a deal soon, despite the fact they are yet to match Yildiz’s annual salary request of €5m (£4.34m).
Arsenal and Chelsea are said to have “set their sights” on signing Yildiz next summer, however they are likely to be left empty-handed if Juventus are able to reach an agreement over a new and improved contract.
Chelsea landed Alejandro Garnacho and Jamie Gittens to strengthen their options on the left flank this summer, but they are still monitoring Yildiz’s development in Turin ahead of a possible pursuit in 2026.
Meanwhile, Arsenal also view him as a credible transfer target, despite the presence of Gabriel Martinelli, Leandro Trossard and summer signing Eberechi Eze.
Zinedine Zidane issues verdict on Kenan Yildiz
Yildiz has attracted significant transfer interest over the past 12 months and his form for Juventus has also impressed club legend Zinedine Zidane.
“I like him, he is a good player,” Zidane told Turkish publication Fanatik when asked about Yildiz.
“He scores goals. He has quality. He still needs to improve and prove himself. Juventus are doing well with [Igor] Tudor, he is slowly improving. I am happy for him and for Juventus.”
