Victor Osimhen transfer takes INCREDIBLE twist

Victor Osimhen’s transfer saga continues to take twist after twist, with the Nigeria international striker’s just as unclear as ever after a remarkable U-turn in his thinking.
In an incredible twist, Osimhen has rejected the opportunity to move to Saudi Pro League side Al-Hilal, despite reports that he was poised to complete a move to the Middle East.
The 26-year-old had agreed a deal worth an estimated €35 million per year according to reports, with the striker having been expected in Paris to complete a medical.
In an incredible twist, it seems that the deal for the Club World Cup hopeful has now been ruled out by Osimhen.
Taking to X, transfer expert Ben Jacobs reports: “Victor Osimhen has turned down Al-Hilal.
“Travel and medical were scheduled to complete the deal in time for the Club World Cup. And a €75m package in place with Napoli.
“However, Osimhen has formally rejected Hilal’s offer.”
Nigerian journalist Buchi Laba was first to report the news, stating: “He has decided no to move there no matter the money offered. Case closed.
“His main priority is to stay in Europe, with a top Italian club very interested and other European clubs. He’s going to take his time.”

What next for Victor Osimhen?
Juventus have been heavily linked with Osimhen and are presumably the unnamed team cited by Laba. The complication with this deal is that his release clause is only eligible for clubs outside of Serie A.
Premier League clubs may yet revisit his case, depending on movement elsewhere. Chelsea, Arsenal and Manchester United have all been linked with the striker, and all are still expected to add at least one more No.9 to their ranks.
Wages have been a major stumbling block in the deal. Osimhen has not backed down from his €13m demands and even the Premier League superpowers have struggled to justify this along with a transfer fee around the €75m mark.
