The Italian defender has made 41 appearances across all competitions for Fiorentina so far this season and his Estimated Transfer Value (ETV) has risen to a career high of €28.5 million as a result of his impressive form since the beginning of 2024-25.

In fact, Arsenal, Chelsea, Manchester United and Newcastle United have all made “direct enquiries” about Comuzzo in recent months, according to TBR Football, while AC Milan, Bournemouth, Brighton & Hove Albion, Juventus and Napoli are also reportedly eager to sign him this summer.

However, TBR Football claim that Comuzzo has agreed to sign a new long-term contract at Fiorentina, snubbing significant transfer interest in the process, with the Serie A club informing suitors of his decision to remain in Florence.

Comuzzo’s existing deal isn’t due to expire until 2028, but Palladino’s side have reportedly opted to tie him down to an extended contract in order to end transfer speculation.

Dean Huijsen battle

With Arsenal and Chelsea now extremely unlikely to sign Comuzzo this summer, they will likely focus their attention on finalising a deal for Bournemouth star Dean Huijsen.

The Spain international is one of the most sought-after defenders in world football and Arsenal and Chelsea are set to battle Liverpool for his signature ahead of the 2025-26 campaign.

All three clubs are vying to sign him this summer following an excellent debut campaign at Bournemouth, and reports indicate that Huijsen is expected to leave the south coast club after just one season.
