After four months, Andrea Pirlo isn’t entirely satisfied at Juventus

Juventus head coach Andrea Pirlo has conceded that he isn’t completely satisfied with his team after four months in the job.
The 41-year-old coach replaced Maurizio Sarri in August, just nine days after being appointed as Juventus’ reserve team head coach.
The rookie coach has yet to lose a single Serie A match in ten attempts, but he has dropped points in five.
As such, the Turin club sit three points off league leaders Milan, who also have a game in hand.
And when asked how he felt the first four months in his inaugural coaching job were going, Pirlo wasn’t entirely satisfied.

“I’m happy for some aspects, especially in the management of the game,” the Juventus manager told Sky Sports Italy.
“We begin to understand certain situations, certain positions and spaces to occupy with different players.
“But I am not satisfied with the swing of results and performances, especially on the psychological aspect.
“Juve can not afford to face matches with little desire and personality. Here we have to improve, because there are no more games already won.
“If you don’t put tenacity and desire, strong players are not enough.”
Despite already dropping 10 points in the Italian top flight this season, Pirlo’s side ended up picking up all three points in a hard-fought 2-1 victory over Torino on Saturday.
The Italian coach would have undoubtedly began wondering about his future as Juventus head coach when the visitors opened the scoring through Nicolas N’Koulou in the ninth minute.
However, despite having a goal ruled out by VAR midway through the second half, Juan Cuadrado popped up to provide two late assists for Weston McKennie and Leonardo Bonucci in the last 12 minutes to give Juventus late goals and all three points.
Whether Pirlo can improve juventus’ performances to ensure more comprehensive victories in the future remains to be seen, but his first four months in charge have undoubtedly been a notable transition for the club.
