Snoop has become an unlikely fan of the Scottish champions ever since 2005 when he was gifted their famous green and white hoops kit.

He has been spotted on numerous occasions wearing a Celtic top.

And, it seems he wants to become more involved in the club

“I don’t know about coach, but as an investor sure," he told the Daily Record.

"Investing in Celtic is something I have talked about in the past and if the opportunity was right I would be down for it.

“Celtic is a huge club and fans want to see the best players playing in this great stadium. All the owners have got to do is ask.”

It has been a tumultuous season for Celtic so far as following a failure to qualify for the Champions League and a poor start in the Scottish Premiership, manager Brendan Rodgers left the club under a cloud.

Shareholder Dermot Desmond then caused a storm when he publicly chastised Rodgers in a statement on the club website.

Remarkably, legendary boss Martin O'Neill returned on an interim basis after two decades away and has two wins from two, but Snoop wants Ange Postecoglou back in the dugout.

“I love sport, and in sport players leave, coaches leave, and you move on," he said.

"You got to give Martin O’Neill big respect, he is coming back when we need him. I think you got to bring Ange back, the club are gonna do what they are gonna do but the fans would love to see him back.”

Postecoglou was a popular figure at Celtic Park but left to join Tottenham where he won the Europa League only to be sacked. This season, he was appointed manager of Nottingham Forest but only lasted 39 days in the job.

Snoop Dogg wants to open a burger van at Celtic Park

Snoop Dogg previously revealed a desire to one day open up a burger van at Celtic Park and even serve the fans himself, telling the Sunday Mail:

"I would love to bring a pop-up burger [van] to a sports stadium to show fans that food at stadiums can be good.

"It's got to be Celtic Park, man. The secret to a good burger is the love in the preparation. The ground beef has got to be mixed with some secret spices, then add a good quality cheese and some maple-cured bacon.

"The Celtic fans are gonna love it, and to make sure they are just right, Snoop is going to be serving them himself."
