Celtic in ADVANCED talks for 36 G/A star as shock return close

Celtic are increasingly in danger of losing star winger Nicolas Kuhn to his former club RB Leipzig, according to German media.
The former Germany youth international is set to continue his journeyman career after hitting like a bomb in Glasgow. Kuhn arrived at Celtic in a €3.5 million deal in January 2024 and quickly became a fan favourite.
The all-action winger has won two domestic doubles in his 18 months at Celtic Park, and he is coming off a breakout season that saw him notch double figures in league goals for the first time in his senior career.
All told, Kuhn chipped in with a whopping 21 goals and 15 assists in 51 appearances across all competitions as he helped the Bhoys retain their Scottish Premiership title and win the League Cup.
Unfortunately for Celtic, Kuhn's impressive performances haven't gone unnoticed, and the spectre of his departure is looming increasingly large.
Leipzig in advanced Kuhn talks
According to Kicker, RB Leipzig are intensifying their talks with Kuhn and Celtic after already being credited with an interest in the 25-year-old some weeks ago.
A move to Saxony would be a sort of homecoming for the well-travelled winger. He spent a couple of years in Leipzig's youth system before joining Ajax's reserves in 2020.

Leipzig are set for a major overhaul of their side after missing out on European football for the first time since their Bundesliga promotion in 2016. In recent days, a breakthrough was reached in talks with Werder Bremen to make Ole Werner their new head coach.
A host of key players are keen to depart Leipzig this summer, and despite an expected windfall of well over €100 million, the Bundesliga outfit want to bring back Kuhn as a relatively low-cost option.
His Estimated Transfer Value (ETV) has skyrocketed to €13.4m since joining Celtic, and he is expected to cost less than €20m. Talks over a deal for Kuhn are believed to be 'advanced' now, but Celtic can take some consolation in the fact that they will stand to pocket a hefty profit.
