Who is the top Champions League goalscorer in 2025/26?

Champions League top scorers 2025/26

Erling Haaland and Harry Kane are among the players who feature prominently in the list of Champions League top scorers for the 2025/26 season, while Anthony Gordon has also made a rapid start.

Galatasaray striker Victor Osimhen grabbed a shock lead in the scoring standings on MD4 after moving on to six goals for the tournament by netting a hat-trick away against Ajax.

That advantage did not last long, though, with Kylian Mbappe storming back into first place on MD5 by scoring four goals in an incredible performance for Real Madrid, who won a thrilling clash against Olympiacos 4-3 in Greece.

Osimhen was injured for Galatasaray's clash with USG on the Tuesday of MD5, meaning the likes of Mbappe and Kane had a chance to reclaim top spot when they played in Wednesday's games.

Kane struggled as Bayern Munich fell to defeat against Arsenal, but Mbappe took full advantage of the opportunity with that staggering display against Olympiacos.

And Mbappe now holds a commanding four-goal lead at the summit after scoring twice more in Real Madrid's emphatic 6-1 home win over his former club Monaco, with Los Blancos now under new management.

That display moved Mbappe up to 11 goals, making him the first player to reach double figures this season, and he also equalled a UCL record held by Real Madrid great Cristiano Ronaldo.

Mbappe has now scored the most goals in a group stage/league stage, tying the competition record with Ronaldo, who scored 11 such goals in the 2015/16 campaign.
