Liverpool will meet Real Madrid in the last 16 of the Champions League in what is a repeat of last season's final.

Los Blancos won 1-0 in Paris back in May, with Vinicius Junior getting the only goal of the game. It was the second time in recent years that they have triumphed over the Reds in such a showpiece, having also won in 2017/18, when Loris Karius endured a nightmare and Gareth Bale scored twice.

The other last-16 tie that is a repeat of a recent final is PSG's meeting with Bayern Munich. FCB won the 2020 final behind closed doors thanks to a Kingsley Coman header, but they exited the following year's competition at the hands of the French club.

Tottenham are the final English club in the last-16 stage, with manager Antonio Conte destined to return to San Siro, where he was once the head coach of Inter. He will lead his side against Milan.

The Nerazzurri, meanwhile, will face Porto and in-form Napoli tackle Eintracht Frankfurt.

Two of the surprise packages of the group stages, Club Brugge and Benfica face off in the final tie.
