Transfer rumour: Konstantinos Karetsas from KRC Genk to Borussia Dortmund

Will Konstantinos Karetsas leave Genk and join Dortmund?

Rumours suggest Dortmund is keen on Konstantinos Karetsas, yet with a probability of only 56%, the move remains uncertain. Here is why.

Dortmund has a great talent in the current squad who plays in the same position as Konstantinos Karetsas.
In the current Dortmund squad, there are too many direct competitors playing in the same position as Konstantinos Karetsas. This reduces the chances of playing time and development.
Dortmund has often bought players who are approximately the same age as the current age of Konstantinos Karetsas (18).

Transfer Logic score:

Pros

Comparable age to previously attracted players
Comparable potential to previously attracted players
Not many competitors with higher Potential (Jobe Bellingham, Maximilian Beier)
Comparable value to previously attracted players
Comparable quality to previously attracted players

Cons

Potential star player in position on team (Maximilian Beier, Carney Chukwuemeka)
Way too many better competitors for position (Maximilian Beier, Carney Chukwuemeka)
Key player as direct competitor (Maximilian Beier, Carney Chukwuemeka)
Some better competitors for position (Maximilian Beier, Felix Nmecha)
