Transfer News LIVE - Every rumour, every done deal: Isak-Liverpool HEATING UP, Rodrygo Premier League-bound
The big spenders will be out in force again this summer, with Real Madrid looking to back new boss Xabi Alonso, Chelsea keen to improve again after securing Champions League qualification, and Manchester United desperate to reclaim some kind of success after a disastrous season that saw them finish just three places above the relegation zone in the Premier League.
The Red Devils have signed Matheus Cunha, with Man City also flexing their financial power to sign Tijani Reijnders, Rayan Ait-Nouri, Marcus Bettinelli and Rayan Cherki.
Some big deals happened earlier than usual due to the Club World Cup and the deadline for participation in that tournament is now over, though the window remains open.
The biggest deal so far this summer saw Florian Wirtz complete a blockbuster transfer to Liverpool from Leverkusen.
Some questions that will hang over the transfer window this season:
- Will Viktor Gyokeres leave Sporting CP?
- Who will sign Victor Osimhen?
- How much can Barcelona spend?
- Will top players want to join Man Utd?
- Will Arsenal sign a world-class striker?

Chelsea to approach Barca for Lopez
Chelsea are interested in signing Fermin Lopez from Barcelona.
Though the young midfielder is considered a key star for the future at Camp Nou, competition for places is fierce and Barca aren't done adding bodies to their squad this summer.
Chelsea believe they can lure Lopez to Stamford Bridge by offering him key player status, while Barca might consider offers of €50 million or more. (Fichajes)

Kean set to stay at Fiorentina
Moise Kean will stay at Fiorentina this summer.
The Italian striker had been linked with Man Utd, while a rumoured phone call with Al-Hilal coach Simone Inzaghi could have seen him head to the Saudi Pro League.
But, his €52 million release clause has now expired and it is believed that Fiorentina will offer the player a bumper new contract. (Alfredo Pedulla)
The battle for Rodrygo is heating up
Who is for sale at Chelsea?
With the likes of Liam Delap, Joao Pedro and Jamie Gittens all signed, Chelsea will now focus on a summer clearout with as many as 10 players likely to leave.
The Standard reports that the club will listen to offers for Joao Felix, Christopher Nkunku, Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall, Raheem Sterling, Ben Chilwell, Renato Veiga and Axel Disasi, as well as Carney Chukwuemeka, Lesley Ugochukwu and Armando Broja.
Kepa Arrizabalaga has already been sold to Arsenal, while Djordje Petrovic is on the cusp of a switch to Bournemouth.
Spurs battle Inter to sign 'the next Kompany'
Tottenham will rival Inter for the signature of Koni De Winter, who could leave Genoa if a bid of €25 million or more comes in.
He has previously commented on being recognised as 'the next Vincent Kompany' and even a potential move to the Premier League.
“All my life I have been told I play like Vincent Kompany,” he told the i Paper. “I have this ability to make runs with the ball like he did, I have the same technical side.
“It’s a really big name, so I one day hope to be able to live up to him. You look at the other big names [who went from Belgium to the Premier League] and it is only right that they ended playing up in the best competitions. I just want to come as far as possible. It’s not that I say I have to play Premier League or I have to play Bundesliga, I just want the best, the best for myself. The Premier League is one of the best competitions in the world, so yes, I hear some nice things.” (i Paper)

Chelsea choose Maresca successor
It seems Chelsea are planning for the future not just on the pitch but in the dugout as well as they have apparently chosen a successor to Enzo Maresca.
The Blues don't plan on parting ways with the Italian anytime soon, especially after the Club World Cup success, but in a few years it has been reported that they will appoint Liam Rosenior.
The head coach is currently in charge of Chelsea's sister club, Strasbourg, and is described as a “rising star in the wider Chelsea universe”. (Sun)
