Transfer News LIVE - Every rumour, every done deal: Spurs to HIJACK huge Arsenal deal? How did new players perform this weekend?
The new season may have commenced in many top European leagues but there will still be a huge focus on the transfer market over the coming weeks, as teams look to strengthen before the deadline on the first day of September.
As always, Premier League teams have spent heavily so far.
Manchester United have signed Matheus Cunha, Bryan Mbeumo and Benjamin Sesko to revamp their attack, with Manchester City also flexing their financial power to sign Tijani Reijnders, Rayan Ait-Nouri, Marcus Bettinelli and Rayan Cherki.
Chelsea have signed Liam Delap, Estevao, Jorrel Hato, Joao Pedro and Jamie Gittens, among others.
Arsenal have been very busy, too, bringing in Noni Madueke, Viktor Gyokeres, Martin Zubimendi, Kepa Arrizabalaga, Christian Norgaard and Cristhian Mosquera.
The biggest deal so far this summer saw Florian Wirtz complete a blockbuster transfer to Liverpool from Leverkusen, while they also brought in Milos Kerkez from Bournemouth and Hugo Ekitike and Jeremie Frimpong from the Bundesliga. Luis Diaz went in the other direction, signing for German giants Bayern Munich.
The transfer saga of the summer involves Alexander Isak, who is attempting to force through a departure from Newcastle to Liverpool.

Could Chiesa stay at Liverpool?
Federico Chiesa could end up staying at Liverpool, reports Fabrizio Romano.
"Chiesa is showing his quality, a crucial goal for Liverpool," he said.
"But it’s not just about the goal. You can see the approach, it’s a completely different Federico. Physically, he’s in a fantastic shape and so at the moment happy to stay at Liverpool.”
The former Juventus star came off the bench to score a crucial goal in the 4-2 win against Bournemouth on Friday.

Three clubs in for Lee Kang-in
Arsenal, Man Utd and Napoli are all interested in Lee Kang-in.
The Korean has showed moments of quality at PSG but is not close to breaking into the first time and was a periphery player when the French side won their treble last season.

Arsenal in shock move for De Jong?
Arsenal are considering a shock move for Frenkie de Jong.
The Gunners are already well-stocked in central midfield with Declan Rice, Martin Odegaard, Mikel Merino and new star Martin Zubimendi set to share the duties this season, but they could look to take advantage of De Jong's contract situation as his deal expires in 2026.

United NEED Martinez or Donnarumma
Gary Neville reckons Man Utd need to sign either Emiliano Martinez or Gianluigi Donnarumma after another goalkeeping error cost them at the weekend.
“The reason I think they would be good goalkeepers for Man Utd is not necessarily because they are the best goalkeepers in Europe, but they are big personalities and characters,” Neville explained to Sky Sports.
“You've seen Donnarumma in a European final save those penalties for Italy. He looked like a giant. He's played for PSG in huge games under pressure. Martinez has played in the World Cup final and won it for Argentina. They have played under extreme pressure and they almost walk out with that arrogance and dominance of a goalkeeper - Man Utd need that.”
Milan target new striker
Milan want to add a new starting centre-forward to their ranks.
The Italian giants failed to qualify for Europe last season and are keen to add more firepower in attack, with two names currently at the top of their shortlist.
They are Man Utd's Rasmus Hojlund and Juventus' Dusan Vlahovic. (Gazzetta)
Simons only wants Chelsea
Xavi Simons has told RB Leipzig he wants to join Chelsea.
The former Paris Saint-Germain midfielder has been linked with a number of clubs this summer including Chelsea, Manchester City, Bayern Munich as well as former club Barcelona.
He apparently has his heart set on Stamford Bridge, though a fee is yet to be agreed between the Blues and RB Leipzig. (ESPN)
Inter reject Chelsea's Bastoni bid
Chelsea have had a bid rejected for Alessandro Bastoni.
The Italian defender is viewed as one of the best centre-backs in Europe and the Blues are keen to strengthen in that position after Levi Colwill was ruled out for most of the season due to injury.
However, Inter have swiftly knocked back Chelsea's initial bid of €50m (£43m). (Gazzetta)
