Manchester United are set for a pivotal transfer window in their modern history in the coming weeks as INEOS properly take control of football operations at Old Trafford.

With a new structure expected to take place above manager Erik ten Hag, the Red Devils are set for significant change this summer - potentially including the Dutchman.

Ten Hag remains under pressure at Old Trafford, with Man Utd looking at several different replacement options, including Graham Potter, Roberto De Zerbi and Gareth Southgate.

Off the pitch, though, there is now great hope with Sir Jim Ratcliffe and INEOS looking to oversee drastic improvement on the pitch following their arrival earlier this year.

No more Ed Woodward, and hopefully a structure which can set up the club for future success. Expect many players to leave and several to come in during the upcoming summer transfer window.

Our live Man Utd transfer blog brings you all the latest news surrounding the Red Devils, including exclusives from our own reporters as well as checking out what the other big names are saying (including the likes of Fabrizio Romano and David Ornstein).

There are expected to be many moves this summer with players coming and going, and the Old Trafford rumour mill is already in full swing.

Man Utd, Arsenal and Liverpool all want Antonio Silva

Man Utd, Arsenal and Liverpool want to sign Antonio Silva from Benfica.

The young central defender has emerged as a key player for the Portuguese giants despite his lack of career experience, and he could be the latest name to earn Benfica a huge payday, following in the footsteps of the likes of Ruben Dias, Joao Felix and Darwin Nunez.

Why Man Utd can spend BIG this summer

Man Utd are in a position to spend heavily on transfers this summer.

Over the last few seasons, United have been shackled by the Premier League’s Profit and Sustainability Rules which only allow clubs to lose £105 million over three years.

United lost £115m, but these calculations won't be included in 2024/25 which means big investment is coming in the playing squad, according to finance expert Kieran Maguire.

“The 2024/25 could be a bit of a reset for Manchester United,” Maguire told Football Insider

“The reason why the club has been so cautious in recent transfer windows, especially in the January window, is a lot to do with the large losses that the club racked up in 2021/22. However, such losses drop out of the three-year PSR equation this summer.

“This should give Manchester United much more wiggle room and a bigger budget to play with. This is combined with a new philosophy of shifting older and higher-earning players off the wage bill.“

£80m MININUM required for Branthwaite

Man Utd will need to pay at least £80 million if they want to sign Jarrad Branthwaite from Everton.

The central defender is the club's number one target for the summer transfer window, though United will face competition from Tottenham and Newcastle for his signature.

Branthwaite alternative emerges

Man Utd will turn their attention to Marc Guehi if they fail to sign Jarrad Branthwaite from Everton.

The Red Devils are targeting at least one new centre-back for the next transfer window, with Branthwaite currently at the top of their wishlist. Shoud a deal for him not be concluded for whatever reason, Crystal Palace's Guehi has emerged as another possibility. (Mail)

Man Utd interested in Cambiaso

Manchester United are interested in signing Juventus defender Andrea Cambiaso, according to TuttoJuve.

Arsenal are also keen on the 24-year-old, but Aston Villa's interest has reportedly ended.

Watkins comments on future amid United interest

Ollie Watkins has dropped a major hint that he will stay at Aston Villa beyond the summer.

The centre-forward has been in superb form for Unai Emery's side this campaign and was recently named in the England squad for the Euros. Man Utd want to sign him to provide experienced competition for Rasmus Hojlund, but that now seems unlikely.

"On a personal note, I've been consistent. There's not much more I can do. It was the aim - to get to 20 goals - but there's always next season," he told the Mirror.

"Has it been a breakthrough? Yes. But I wasn't surprised by how well I've done because of all the hard work I've put in. And next season will be better, I'm sure of that."

Arsenal legend tips Rashford to the Gunners over Chelsea

Marcus Rashford was left out the England squad for the Euros which has done nothing to dampen the speculation over his future at Manchester United.

Should he move on from Old Trafford, Arsenal legend Emmanuel Petit believes he would suit the Gunners rather than, say, Chelsea.

"Would Rashford be good at Arsenal? Give me the paper, and let me sign it for him right now! Rashford in a good environment would be incredible for the Gunners as they all look miserable at United," he told Boyle Sports.

"I saw what happened with the fan and I understand his frustration, so if Rashford wants to leave, he’s more than welcome at Arsenal and the door is open for him. Havertz was in a strange environment at Chelsea and he wasn’t happy, but he has smiled at Arsenal and I can finally see his teeth - I want that for Rashford."
