The 2024 summer window was a crazy one for Chelsea as they were once again one of the biggest spenders, and they'll further strengthen again in the upcoming 2025 window thanks to Todd Boehly's resources.

The west London club signed Jadon Sancho, Pedro Neto, Joao Felix, Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall, Filip Jorgensen, Omari Kellyman, Aaron Anselmino, Renato Veiga, Caleb Wiley, Marc Guiu and Tosin Adarabioyo last summer, while Estevao Willian, Mike Penders and Kendry Paez are confirmed recruits for 2025.

The club recently beat Man Utd to the signing of exciting Sporting winger Geovany Quenda.

High-profile targets like Victor Osimhen and Nico Williams continue to be linked with a summer move in a couple of months.

There are questions surrounding the future of manager Enzo Maresca, however.

Delap could choose Man Utd over Chelsea

Liam Delap is leaning towards joining Man Utd ahead of the likes of Arsenal, Chelsea and Aston Villa, according to Ben Jacobs.

The striker will leave Ipswich this summer for around £30 million due to a relegation clause in his contract, with 'half the Premier League' said to be interested in acquiring his services.

It looks like the Red Devils are leading the race currently.

Who should Chelsea sign to replace Jackson?

Chelsea set to pay United NOT to sign Sancho

Chelsea will pay Man Utd €6 million NOT to sign Jadon Sancho.

The winger is currently on loan at Stamford Bridge from United but has failed to perform to the standard that would lead to Chelsea triggeirng their obligation to sign him for €30m.

Instead, they will pay a penalty fee of €5m to get out of signing Sancho on a permanent basis. (Mirror)

Chelsea reject Arsenal bid for wonderkid

Chelsea have reportedly rejected a €1.5 million offer from Arsenal for academy goalkeeper Freddy Bernal.

The youngster has been hugely impressive in the Blues' youth academy recently which has catalysed interest from a number of clubs, including the Gunners.

That is according to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, who posted on X: “Arsenal have offered Chelsea £1.25m for England U18 goalkeeper Freddy Bernal.

“Chelsea rejected the bid, clear on their position as they want to keep Bernal. Several other clubs remain interested.”

Have Chelsea fans had enough of Jackson?

BOMBSHELL

One major Huijsen worry

Chelsea and Liverpool are currently the two favourites to sign Dean Huijsen from Bournemouth.

However, both clubs have been warned that, should Real Madrid come calling, the player will move to Spain.

Estevao defends Chelsea choice

Estevao Willian insists he made the right choice to agree a move to Chelsea, even though the club are currently struggling to qualify for the Champions League.

“I’ve told you many times that my biggest dream is to bring the World Cup home to Brazil,” he wrote in the Player's Tribune. "I think this transition to European football will help me grow even more as a player, especially since we’re going to one of the biggest clubs in the world.

"A lot of people are asking me why we chose Chelsea, but they don’t understand how much Chelsea wanted me, and how much belief they have in my potential. Those people don’t know about the project they presented to us. To a young player, these things matter a lot, and I know we’ve made the right decision to go to London.”

Arsenal look to get one over on Chelsea

Felix likely to return to Benfica

Joao Felix is in talks to return to Benfica this summer.

The Portugal international joined Chelsea from Atletico Madrid last year but failed to make an impact in his first six months at Stamford Bridge which resulted in a loan move to Milan that has proved a disaster.

He will return to the Blues temporarily in the close-season before likely sealing an emotional return to former club Benfica. (Caught Offside)

WHAT a signing this would be

Chelsea's transfer wishlist

Chelsea will be busy in the summer transfer window and have a long list of players they want to recruit, for a number of positions. They have been linked with the following names...

Strikers: Jonathan David, Liam Delap, Hugo Ekitike, Victor Osimhen and Benjamin Sesko

Wingers: Alejandro Garnacho, Jamie Gittens, Nico Williams

Centre-backs: Dean Huijsen, Jarrad Branthwaite, Marc Guehi

MAJOR club out of Osimhen race

Victor Osimhen will leave Napoli this summer in a deal worth an expected €75 million - but he won't be moving to Man Utd.

The Nigeria striker is currently on loan at Galatasaray from Napoli and will leave the Italian giants on a permanent deal in the close-season, with Man Utd, Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool, Barcelona, PSG and Saudi Pro League Clubs interested.

It was originally believed that United had made Osimhen a priority signing for the summer, but David Ornstein reports that the player is not on the club's agenda.

MAJOR Huijsen boost

The battle for Rodrygo

Man Utd, Man City and Chelsea all want to sign Rodrygo from Real Madrid.

The Brazilian has developed into a key player for Los Blancos over the years, but the forward line at the club has been left unbalanced following the arrival of Kylian Mbappe.

Madrid may look to sell Rodrygo for €100 million this summer to fund the acquisition of a new midfield playmaker. (Todo Fichajes)
