'Here We Go soon'! Gyokeres to Arsenal is VERY CLOSE - Fabrizio Romano
Arsenal are getting very close to signing Viktor Gyokeres and the Here We Go announcement is set to arrive very soon, according to Fabrizio Romano.
Romano reports on Sunday that a new round of talks in recent hours have brought the deal very close to completion.
Gyokeres has reached "total agreement with Arsenal" on contract terms and informed Sporting Lisbon of his desire to join the Gunners.
Romano adds that Gyokeres will not return to training at Sporting as he's fully focused on completing his move to Arsenal.
Gyokeres has no intention to join any other club but Arsenal.
Romano concludes by saying that the 'Here We Go' announcement is not far away.
The news comes after A Bola reported on Saturday that Sporting will now accept an offer of €70 million plus €10m in adds-ons.
This is encouraging news for Arsenal as up until now Sporting have been stubborn in their stance that they want as close to Gyokeres' €100m release clause as possible.

Gyokeres agrees personal terms
Nicolo Schira had already reported on Wednesday that Arsenal and Gyokeres have an agreement in principle on a contract until 2030, with salary and terms all settled upon.
Schira adds that Gyokeres is getting closer to joining Arsenal, despite the issues that remain between the two clubs over agreeing a transfer fee.
Arsenal must now agree on a transfer fee with Sporting to complete the transfer.
A public war has erupted between the player’s entourage and his club over his asking price.
Gyokeres’ agents claim that Sporting broke a promise to sell him for around €60m plus €10m in bonuses, while Sporting have denied a promise was ever made.
Duncan Castles revealed on the Transfers Podcast recently that Gyokeres is very upset at Sporting breaking a promise to sell him this summer for the mentioned fee.
Castles adds that there is a clause in his contract that Sporting must pay Gyokeres a €6m penalty fee if they do reject offers of over €60m.
A Bola reported on Tuesday that this clause has been activated as of Tuesday 1 July.
That €6m will go to Gyokeres’ agent Hakan Cetinkaya, and means that Arsenal can put the pressure on Sporting into finally selling their star man by bidding that amount.
Arsenal have made Gyokeres their number one striker target this summer, but until now have been left frustrated by Sporting's high demands over a transfer fee.
Castles added that Gyokeres is threatening to go on strike if Sporting refuse to sell him, a line also confirmed now by A Bola and Fabrizio Romano.

According to Romano, though, these problems appear to be close to being sorted as Gyokeres edges near to joining Arsenal.
Gyokeres is the hottest striking property around right now after having an incredible season, scoring 54 goals in 52 games in all competitions, and leading Sporting to another league title.
This follows on from his brilliant form from last season for Sporting where he scored 43 goals in all competitions for his club.
