Man Utd Transfer News Today: Endrick bombshell lands, Arsenal star is 'offered'
FootballTransfers runs through the latest Manchester United transfer news on 11 August, including fresh updates on Endrick and Myles Lewis-Skelly.
Man Utd considered stunning move for Endrick
Man Utd considered making a move for Real Madrid star Endrick earlier this summer, according to reports in France.
French publication RMC Sport claims the Red Devils were interested in signing Endrick on loan provided the striker was made available by Real.
However, Spanish outlet Diario AS reported on Monday that Los Blancos manager Jose Mourinho wants to keep hold of the 20-year-old.
United are believed to be scouring the market for an alternative striker to Benjamin Sesko, who scored 12 goals last season.
Michael Carrick’s side have occasionally used Bryan Mbeumo through the middle, though the Cameroon international is a right-sided forward by trade.
Various sources understand United are also big admirers of Endrick's Real team-mate Aurelien Tchouameni, but the midfielder wants to stay at the Bernabeu.
Red Devils reportedly offered chance to sign Lewis-Skelly
United have been offered the chance to sign versatile Arsenal star Myles Lewis-Skelly, according to Football.London.
The Red Devils are believed to be keen on signing a left-back and a central midfielder this summer, with Lewis-Skelly comfortable in either position.
And now Football.London understands United - as well as Chelsea - have been handed the opportunity to sign the 19-year-old, with Arsenal reportedly keen to cash in.
A separate report from The Independent claims Arsenal academy graduate Lewis-Skelly is a long-standing target for United.
The England international has four years to run on his contract at the Emirates Stadium after he signed a long-term deal last June.
Carrick’s men lower demands for Juve-linked Zirkzee
United have lowered their demands for Joshua Zirkzee after reintegrating Marcus Rashford into their squad, according to reports in Italy.
Gazzetta dello Sport understands the 20-time league champions are now prepared to allow Zirkzee to join Juventus on a season-long loan with an option to buy.
The same outlet previously reported United would only sanction a loan move provided a conditional obligation to buy clause was included in a prospective deal.
The news comes after United signalled their intent to keep hold of England star Rashford by offering him a new shirt number, according to Fabrizio Romano.
Transfer insider Romano claims Michael Carrick’s side have given Rashford the No. 14 jersey ahead of the 2026-27 Premier League season.
Speculation has been rife regarding Rashford’s future at United, having spent the last season-and-a-half on loan at Aston Villa and Barcelona respectively.
