The 2026 summer transfer window is beginning to heat up and a number of huge deals are expected to be formally announced shortly ahead of the new season.

The World Cup has complicated transfer plans for some of the biggest players on the planet, although several huge moves have still already been confirmed so far this summer.

Tottenham Hotspur have been the busiest club in the transfer market so far, spending over €260 million on Sandro Tonali, Mateus Fernandes, Jan Paul van Hecke, Andrew Robertson, Marcos Senesi and Martin Dubravka as they look to recover from back-to-back 17th-placed finishes in the Premier League. They have, however, sold Luka Vuskovic to Brighton & Hove Albion.

Chelsea, meanwhile, have also been active in the market, signing Marco Palestra, Geovany Quenda, Emmanuel Emegha, Dastan Satpaev and Denner, while selling Marc Cucurella to Real Madrid, Andrey Santos to Manchester United and Tyrique George to Everton. Youngster Jesse Derry has joined Sporting CP on loan.

Manchester City have completed the signing of Nottingham Forest midfielder Elliot Anderson for a club-record fee, in addition to adding Troyes winger Mathys Detourbet and Leicester City wonderkid Jeremy Monga from Leicester.

Their city-rivals Man Utd have confirmed the arrival of the aforementioned Santos, while they have finalised agreements to sign Youri Tielemans and Karl Darlow too.

Arsenal have signed Piero Hincapie and Illan Meslier, and Liverpool have bolstered Andoni Iraola’s squad with the additions of Osasuna winger Victor Munoz and Stade Rennais defender Jeremy Jacquet.

Meanwhile, Barcelona have signed Newcastle United forward Anthony Gordon for €80m, and their El Clasico rivals Real Madrid have purchased the aforementioned Cucurella, Bernardo Silva, Ibrahima Konate and Denzel Dumfries.

Bayern Munich have completed a deal for Eintracht Frankfurt full-back Nathaniel Brown and AC Milan have signed Paris Saint-Germain striker Goncalo Ramos for a whopping €74m.
