Diomande pressuring PSG

The camp of RB Leipzig winger Yan Diomande is trying to pressure PSG into making a bid, according to BILD.

The Ivory Coast international is keen to join the Ligue 1 champions and has already agreed terms on a five-year contract. However, there has been no breakthrough in club-to-club talks, and PSG have yet to even make a bid.

Leipzig insist that they will only sell for more than €120 million, which PSG appear reluctant to pay. This stalemate has resulted in fresh links with Arsenal, and the news that Diomande's entourage is growing frustrated with PSG's dithering could be a boost for the Gunners.

Newcastle will reject Arsenal's improved bid for Bruno Guimaraes, The Times reports.

After making a verbal bid via intermediaries last month, Arsenal are poised to present a formal offer believed to be worth around €82m. However, it is not expected to be enough for Newcastle, who continue to insist that their captain is not for sale.

Guimaraes, though, has made it clear that he wants the move and, according to Fabrizio Romano, the objective of the bid is to "move negotiations much closer" even if it won't be accepted.

Martin talks

Arsenal have made an enquiry for Real Sociedad defender Jon Martin, as per Mundo Deportivo.

The 20-year-old has emerged as one of the options to replace William Saliba, who is expected to be sidelined for several months due to injury. However, a transfer this summer looks unlikely.

In order to fend off interest in the youngster, Real Sociedad handed him a new long-term contract until 2032 on Thursday. The deal is fitted with a €60m release clause, but Martin is keen to continue his development at his boyhood club.

Arsenal enter Ramon race

Another potential Saliba replacement is Como defender Jacobo Ramon, but a potential transfer is similarly unrealistic, the BBC understands.

The Spaniard impressed in his first season in Serie A and has attracted the attention of various suitors. He has primarily been linked with Chelsea, but Arsenal are now also showing an interest.

However, a move is difficult to realise because his former club Real Madrid control his future via a buy-back clause, and it is believed that they plan to re-sign him next year. In any case, Como don't want to lose him this summer and would demand an enormous fee.
