Arne Slot was relieved of his duties as Liverpool head coach last week following an end-of-season review.

The Dutchman was immediately linked with a move to AC Milan, but there now seems to be a new option for him. TEAMtalk reports that Slot is now being considered by Fulham, where manager Marco Silva is set to leave.

For virtually the entire season, Slot's future at Liverpool seemed to be hanging by a thread. The results in his second campaign with the Reds were disappointing, and ultimately, the Champions League was reached by the skin of their teeth. On Saturday, however, it emerged rather unexpectedly that Slot had been sacked by Liverpool.

It was striking that Slot was quickly linked to a next coaching job. AC Milan is looking for a new coach following the recent dismissal of Massimiliano Allegri. According to Sacha Tavolieri, Slot was reportedly being considered.

However, La Gazzetta dello Sport revealed that Oliver Glasner, Matthias Jaissle and Mauricio Pochettino are in the picture, which makes Slot's chances virtually non-existent.

Will Arne Slot stay in the Premier League?

However, Arne Slot is already quickly being linked to another club. TEAMtalk reports that the manager is being considered by Fulham.

Marco Silva is leaving the club and is the favourite to succeed Jose Mourinho at Benfica. At Craven Cottage, they are already looking for a successor, and Slot is one of the names being considered.

The fact that Arne Slot is being considered by Fulham does not, however, automatically mean that he will become the new manager of The Cottagers. According to the report, there are more names in the picture.

Thomas Frank (sacked by Tottenham Hotspur earlier this season) and Ruben Amorim (sacked by Manchester United earlier this season) are also being considered. Fulham are also not merely considering managers who are currently without a club.

They are reportedly thinking about Kieran McKenna, who led Ipswich Town to promotion to the Premier League, as well. Additionally, Frank Lampard is being mentioned, having won the Championship with Coventry City.
