Confirmed: Arsenal make enquiry for €100m forward
Arsenal have made an enquiry to Juventus over a possible summer move for Turkey forward Kenan Yildiz, it has been revealed.
The Gunners are in the market for a new left winger and they have now approached Juventus for Yildiz following months of speculation linking them with a move for the highly-rated 21-year-old.
However, The Athletic have confirmed that Arsenal’s initial enquiry was rebuffed by Juventus, with the Serie A giants informing Mikel Arteta’s side that Yildiz is not for sale this summer after he signed a lucrative four-year contract in February.
As a result, it’s reported that Arsenal have now turned their attention to other targets, with a summer deal for Yildiz ruled out.
The Turkey international, who has been linked with Arsenal and Chelsea in recent months, scored 11 goals and provided 10 assists in 47 games last season, and it has been claimed that Juventus would demand a fee of at least €100 million to sanction a sale during the 2026 summer transfer window.
Analysis: Which left winger will Arsenal sign this summer?
Arsenal have been linked with a new left winger for the past two summer transfer windows, but they finally look set to bolster their options in that position ahead of the 2026-27 campaign.
Leandro Trossard and Gabriel Martinelli have both been tipped to depart the Emirates Stadium, and it’s understood that Arteta’s side will offload one of them on a permanent deal in order to help fund the signing of a replacement.
FootballTransfers understands that Aston Villa superstar Morgan Rogers has been earmarked as a primary target by the Arsenal hierarchy ahead of this summer, while they are also keeping tabs on Rafael Leao’s situation at AC Milan.
In addition, the Gunners have been linked with a move for Nottingham Forest star Morgan Gibbs-White in recent days, and they could look to bring him to the Emirates Stadium following an excellent end to the Premier League season.
Arsenal are also in advanced talks to sign Leicester City starlet Jeremy Monga, although he would be unlikely to play a role in the first-team next season if an agreement is reached to bring him to north London.
