Osimhen interest confirmed

Arsenal’s interest in Victor Osimhen has been confirmed by Galatasaray, with Gunners director Andrea Berta being told just how much a deal would cost for the striker.

"I wouldn't sell him for €150 million, but it's a matter for our president to decide," Galatasaray vice-president Abdullah Kavukcu told HT Spor, via habersarikirmizi.com. "When you sell him, you also need to find a replacement player. That's very important.

"The Arsenal sporting director came here recently and even he was surprised that we were paying these amounts. Their budget is €800m. We will have a budget of €500m this year.”

"Osimhen will continue. We expect to generate approximately 22 million euros from it,” he added. “The Osimhen transfer has added a lot to us; we have reaped the rewards of our ambition."

Madueke reveals reasons behind Arsenal move

Arsenal winger Noni Madueke has revealed the real reason why he decided to join the club from Chelsea last summer.

The England international completed a surprise €56 million transfer to the Emirates Stadium in July, despite Arsenal fans protesting against the deal, and he has featured on a regular basis since his arrival, largely thanks to Bukayo Saka’s injury troubles in 2025-26.

Speaking to Sky Sports about his move across London, Madueke admitted: “I just believed Arsenal were going to win trophies so that’s why I moved.

“The England boys helped me a lot, I was already close to them so it was great. The whole club helped me though, everyone in and around the club was helpful. It’s full of good people and people who want to work hard and achieve something. It was easy in that sense.”

Gabriel Jesus exit hint revealed

Mikel Arteta made a big statement over Gabriel Jesus’ future after leaving the Brazilian out of the squad for the win over West Ham on Sunday.

Arteta has his full attacking contingent of stars available to him which ultimately led to Jesus not making the line-up or the bench for the game against the Hammers.

Jesus is out of contract next year and the forward has been linked with a return to Brazil this summer after finding minutes hard to come by since returning from a long-term injury.

Bukayo Saka, Eberechi Eze, Leandro Trossard and Viktor Gyokeres started for Arsenal in a narrow 1-0 win as Kai Havertz, Martin Odegaard and Noni Madueke came off the bench, with Gabriel Martinelli staying an unused sub, highlighting the players in front of Jesus in the pecking order.

Arsenal tipped to target Mbappe

Arsenal have been told that Kylian Mbappe would be the ‘perfect’ solution to their left-wing conundrum as Arteta looks to assemble a world class front line this summer.

"Arsenal would love Kylian Mbappe and he’d be perfect on their left wing,” said former Gunner Emmanuel Petit. “The only reason I think Mbappe will stay at Real Madrid is because if he leaves without winning a trophy it would make his move a failure.

“Mbappe has a huge ego so he will probably want to stay and to prove the opposite. I’m pretty sure about that. I don’t see him leaving Madrid, probably the biggest club in the world, unless the decision is made for him.

"The only way he leaves is if Florentino Perez cracks under the pressure," Petit added. "Millions of fans have signed to say they want him to leave the club. That could be the end for Mbappe because Florentino Perez is a political guy.

“If Arsenal win the Champions League for the first time then it would change the course of their history and send a strong message in the transfer market."
