Mayulu has scored four goals and provided five assists in 28 appearances across all competitions so far this term and he has been a fixture in Luis Enrique’s preferred starting XI this campaign, despite immense competition for places.

However, contract extension talks have stalled and this has ignited interest from a number of top Premier League clubs.

That is according to CaughtOffside, who claim that PSG’s offer to extend Mayulu’s deal until 2030 was rejected by the France U21 international due to salary issues.

His current contract is due to expire in 2027 and his situation is reportedly being closely monitored by Arsenal, Chelsea and Manchester City ahead of the upcoming summer transfer window, while Aston Villa and Newcastle United are known admirers too.

Arsenal and Chelsea to battle for Senny Mayulu

It’s understood that PSG will demand a fee of at least €60 million if they are unable to finalise a contract extension agreement with Mayulu, although that figure is expected to rise to €70m with add-ons.

CaughtOffside state that Mayulu could triple his wages if he moves to the Premier League this summer, and PSG will listen to offers for his signature if a new deal isn’t agreed by May.

Arsenal and Chelsea are both expected to make a “decisive move” for the teenager when the 2025-26 season concludes, with the former reportedly viewing him as long-term replacement for Kai Havertz and the latter eager to land him as part of a summer rebuild.

Both clubs are set for a busy summer window and they are likely to intensify their reported pursuit of Mayulu over the coming months.
