As a result, a number of high-profile deals could still be completed over the next week, despite the fact Deadline Day on 2 February has officially been and gone.

Raheem Sterling - Free Agent to Tottenham

Raheem Sterling is officially a free agent after his Chelsea contract was mutually terminated last week and he therefore has his pick of clubs to choose from.

The former England international endured a torrid stint at Stamford Bridge after the appointment of Enzo Maresca and his stock is at an all-time low following an underwhelming loan stint at Arsenal and the fact he hasn’t played a competitive match since May.

But, he has been linked with a number of Premier League clubs on a Bosman deal, including Tottenham Hotspur, who could chase a free transfer deal given their injury issues in attack.

Evan Ferguson - Brighton to Galatasaray

Brighton & Hove Albion striker Evan Ferguson was regarded as one of the biggest prospects in world football three years ago, however injuries have derailed his development and he is currently struggling for game time on loan at AS Roma.

The January arrivals of Donyell Malen and Robinio Vaz have pushed Ferguson even further down the pecking order, and Roma were tipped to terminate his loan spell before the end of Deadline Day.

This didn’t happen, but reports suggest that he could be set to secure a loan move to Galatasaray before the Turkish transfer window closes on 6 February.

N’Golo Kante - Al-Ittihad to Fenerbahce

Chelsea legend N’Golo Kante is on the verge of leaving Saudi Pro League side Al-Ittihad to join Fenerbahce on a permanent deal for a fee worth roughly €4m.

The France midfielder has spent the past two-and-a-half years in Saudi Arabia, but he will return to Europe this week, with the deal fully agreed between all parties.

He will sign an 18-month contract at Fenerbahce and his medical is expected to take place shortly.

Divine Mukasa, Jamaal Lascelles and Dujuan Richards to Leicester

Leicester City completed the loan signing of Southampton midfielder Joe Aribo on Deadline Day, but they are yet to formally announce the arrivals of Divine Mukasa (Manchester City), Jamaal Lascelles (Newcastle) and Dujuan Richards (Chelsea).

Deals have been agreed for all three players, however the club haven’t confirmed the transfers due to a backblog at EFL HQ, as per Sky Sports.

The trio will arrive at the King Power Stadium on loan for the remainder of the season as the Foxes look to make a late charge for the Championship play-off places after an extremely underwhelming start to the campaign.

Cristiano Ronaldo - Al-Nassr to ?

Cristiano Ronaldo’s long-term future at Al-Nassr is in serious doubt after he refused to be selected for their clash against Al-Riyadh on Monday evening in protest against their winter transfer activity.

While their rivals Al-Hilal have signed Mohamed Kader Meite from Rennes and Karim Benzema from Al-Ittihad, Al-Nassr have been incredibly inactive in the market and this has angered Ronaldo, despite the fact he reportedly earns over €500,000 per day.

As a result, rumours of an exit have circulated and Ronaldo could therefore be potentially set to depart Al-Nassr if an interested party is able to agree a bombshell deal.
