Chelsea could be set for another revolution of their striker department this summer, with a number of their stars facing uncertain futures after a frustrating season.

The Blues splashed out nearly €100 million last summer to bring in Joao Pedro and Liam Delap to front their new-look attacking unit, having seen the likes of Christopher Nkunku, Joao Felix and Armando Broja leave the club.

While Pedro has enjoyed an impressive start to life at Stamford Bridge, Delap has struggled to find form and speculation has claimed that the 23-year-old could be sold after a poor season, with Manchester United among the sides said to be interested.

The striker situation has become even more complicated for Chelsea after BILD revealed that Nicolas Jackson is ‘dissatisfied’ with his loan spell at Bayern Munich and there is ‘little indication’ that their €65 million option will be taken up to permanently buy the 24-year-old.

Bayern paid a staggering €16.5m to sign Jackson on loan but the Senegalese international has only made five Bundesliga starts after seeing Harry Kane enjoy a prolific season as the leading striker for the German giants.

Jackson is now expected to return to Chelsea in the summer where he is likely to be moved on again to allow Liam Rosenior’s side to make further wholesale changes in attack.

Chelsea facing crucial decision after Guiu transfer request report

Reports also emerged that Blues youngster Marc Guiu has handed in a transfer request, having failed to break into Chelsea’s first team squad since his €6m arrival in 2024.

Guiu joined Sunderland on loan during the summer but was recalled less than a month later after Jackson’s move to Bayern left Chelsea without enough cover up front.

But the 20-year-old has only played 235 minutes in the Premier League this season and appears to be behind a number of players in the pecking order, leading to reports from Spain that he has asked to leave the club.

However, Chelsea insider Simon Johnson brushed away rumours and insisted that Guiu still ‘loves being at Chelsea’ and is focused on helping the team.

The development leaves Chelsea with a difficult decision on how to solve their log jam in attack, while also ensuring that they have enough quality, with Guiu, Jackson and Delap all still to convince the club of their credentials going forward.
