Tottenham head coach Thomas Frank is at serious risk of the sack following a 2-1 loss to West Ham.

The North London club slumped to their eighth defeat in 14 games on Saturday when a stoppage-time goal from Callum Wilson handed West Ham all three points at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

Spurs' home form has been atrocious for some time, even dating back to Ange Postecoglou's spell, and Frank has been unable to overturn a remarkable trend that has seen his side become one of the worst home teams in the Premier League.

In truth, the Dane has been unable to do much right since taking the job in the summer. With some rare exceptions, Tottenham's performances have been dire all season.

They managed to grind out positive results in the early stages of the campaign, but they are no longer able to ride their luck. Spurs now sit in a thoroughly merited 14th place in the table.

Frank 'on the brink'

According to The Times, Frank is "on the brink" following this defeat to relegation-battlers West Ham. Club bosses wanted to give him time and back him in the market, but they are quickly losing faith in the 52-year-old.

No decision has been made yet, but Frank may very well have overseen his final game as a Spurs manager. It's high time for him to go as far as Tottenham fans are concerned.

Frank lost any last goodwill he still had with the supporters when he criticised them for booing goalkeeper Guglielmo Vicario in the 2-1 loss to Fulham in November.

Chants of "boring, boring Tottenham" have been heard at games, while "you're getting sacked in the morning" rang around the ground on Saturday. Spurs were met with a chorus of boos after the loss to West Ham.

Xabi Alonso, Enzo Maresca and Ruben Amorim are currently available.
