Manchester United have reportedly submitted an opening bid worth €90 million for RB Leipzig wonderkid Yan Diomande.
The Ivory Coast international has enjoyed a fantastic start to life with Ole Werner’s side and his immense form so far this campaign has attracted the attention of suitors across European football.
Diomande has notched seven goals and four assists in 16 games across all competitions so far this term, following a €20 million summer move from Leganes, and he is expected to be the subject of significant transfer interest this year.
Football transfer news expert David Ornstein has confirmed that Leipzig are set to demand a fee of €100m this summer, with a January deal unlikely to be sanctioned, as they look to turn a huge profit on the 19-year-old.
Arsenal, Bayern Munich, Chelsea, Liverpool, Paris Saint-Germain and Tottenham Hotspur are all closely monitoring Diomande’s development in the Bundesliga, while Man Utd have also earmarked him as a top target.
The Red Devils splashed out €149.2m on Premier League duo Bryan Mbeumo and Matheus Cunha last summer, but they remain eager to bolster their options out wide following the sacking of Ruben Amorim on Monday, and Diomande is among the players on their transfer wishlist.

In fact, they have now submitted a €90m bid for the Ivory Coast winger, as per a bombshell report from Africa Foot.

The 13-time Premier League champions are currently willing to offer Diomande an annual salary of €3.5m and the final details may reportedly be settled before the end of the Africa Cup of Nations.
