Napoli exits: Galatasaray and Nottingham Forest deals

Napoli have finalised two outgoing moves as they prepare to reshape their squad. “Two here we go deals are now completed,” Romano said. “Noah Lang is travelling from Napoli to Istanbul to join Galatasaray on a loan worth €2m with a €30m option to buy, not mandatory. If the option is activated in the summer, his salary would be €4m net per season.

“At the same time, Lorenzo Lucca is joining Nottingham Forest on a €1m loan with an option to buy worth €35m-40m , also not mandatory.

“Both agreements with the players are done, with Lang travelling to Turkey and Lucca travelling to England. Napoli are now ready to sign Giovanni Simeone from Verona, with more to follow.”

Casemiro to leave Manchester United in the summer

Manchester United have decided not to extend the midfielder’s contract.

Casemiro will leave Manchester United at the end of the current season on a free transfer,” Romano said. “The club will not trigger the option to extend his contract and the decision has already been communicated.

“Casemiro wanted to be very clear with United fans and teammates, which is why he announced it now, but he remains fully focused on finishing the season strongly.

“There has been strong interest from Saudi clubs in recent years, as well as other options, and in the summer he will choose his next destination after a legendary career.”

Manchester United plan new contract talks for Kobbie Mainoo

United are preparing to secure the future of one of their key young players.

“After rejecting loan proposals in both August and January, Manchester United remain keen to extend Kobbie Mainoo’s contract,” Romano said.

“With Casemiro leaving in the summer, Mainoo is seen as a priority for the club’s midfield future.

“He is very happy under Michael Carrick and is now playing regularly, which has changed the feeling completely. “Contract talks are expected to continue, with United determined to show their confidence in him and Mainoo open to staying if this role continues.”

Brazil offer Carlo Ancelotti new long-term contract

The Brazilian FA are confident of securing continuity ahead of future tournaments.

“The Brazilian Federation have offered Carlo Ancelotti a new contract until the 2030 World Cup,” Romano said. “Since Ancelotti arrived, the atmosphere around the national team has completely changed, both in the dressing room and on the pitch.

“Talks are advancing to the final stages and, as reported in Brazil, the agreement is very close. “Ancelotti could sign the new deal before the 2026 World Cup, showing total confidence in the project from both sides.”

Chelsea exploring Douglas Luiz loan opportunity

Chelsea are monitoring a potential midfield addition late in the window.

Douglas Luiz is currently on loan at Nottingham Forest from Juventus, but he is not playing enough to trigger the conditions for a mandatory option to buy,” Romano said.

“For this reason, the player’s camp and Juventus are considering interrupting the loan and finding a new club.

“Chelsea have made contact to understand whether a loan deal is possible, with no obligation to buy.

“They want midfield depth due to injuries and squad management, but only on the right conditions.

“Chelsea are speaking with the player’s agent and Juventus to see if this opportunity can materialise.”
