Vinicius Jr decision

Vinicius Junior has informed Real Madrid that he has no intention of signing a new contract at the club amid his current relationship with head coach Xabi Alonso.

As exclusively revealed by The Transfers Podcast back in March, Vinicius has asked to become the highest-paid player in the Real Madrid squad, which is a request Real Madrid are unwilling to match.

The Brazil star has now directly told Los Blancos president Florentino Perez that signing a new deal is not the best option for him due to a “strained” relationship with Alonso, according to a bombshell report from The Athletic.

Arsenal offer

Arsenal have reportedly seen an opening offer for Morocco U17 international Elyes Saidi rejected by AJ Auxerre.

The 16-year-old was the joint-top assist provider at the recent U17 World Cup with three and he has emerged as a target for Arsenal following his performances at the tournament.

However, Mikel Arteta’s side have seen their opening bid for Saidi turned down by Auxerre, as per a report from AfricaFoot. The Ligue 1 outfit view him as one of their “most promising prospects” and they are eager to retain his services as they look to eventually promote him into a first-team role.

Nico Williams to Chelsea?

Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur have both submitted a €70 million offer for Athletic Club winger Nico Williams, according to reports in Spain.

The Spain star signed a new 10-year contract at Athletic Club this summer, however Fichajes claim that Chelsea and Spurs have lodged €70m bids for the 23-year-old.

Chelsea have reportedly been working on a proposal for Williams for several weeks and they intend to finalise a deal for his signature quickly in order to fight off significant competition in the race to sign him.

Elliot Anderson update

Manchester United are certain to bid for Nottingham Forest midfielder Elliot Anderson in 2026, according to a report.

A transfer in January appears to be out of the question, but journalist Ben Jacobs has revealed that Anderson's 'complicated' Forest deal contains certain machinations that allow him to leave the club for significantly less than €100m after the season.

Furthermore, according to Shaun Connolly, an approach from Man Utd for Anderson is inevitable as they believe that he is the ideal long-term replacement for Casemiro, who will be on his way out unless he takes a sizeable pay cut.

Chelsea complete signing on trial

Chelsea have beaten Leicester City, Nottingham Forest and Watford to the signing of Guinea youngster Amara Keita on a trial basis.

That is according to a report from AfricaFoot, who claim that Keita officially joined Chelsea on trial on 20 November. He was viewed as a “top priority” by the west London giants and they fought off significant competition from across England to secure a short-term deal for the young winger.

It’s reported that Chelsea were “particularly impressed” by Keita’s performances at the World Schools Cup in China and they have moved quickly to sign him on a trial period.

Barcelona want Pedro Neto

Barcelona have made Chelsea winger Pedro Neto their “central focus” in the transfer market, according to a report from Spain.

With four goals and two assists for Enzo Maresca’s side so far this season in the top-flight, he has already matched his scoring tally from last season and is well on his way to better the half dozen assists he managed for the Stamford Bridge side last term.

None of this has gone unnoticed at Barcelona, with sporting director Deco of the opinion that Neto’s versatility, tactical awareness and dribbling could be a major boost to the Blaugrana’s attack, as per Fichajes.

Arsenal ramp up Murillo pursuit

Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta is showing “serious intent” to sign Nottingham Forest centre-back Murillo but faces competition from Chelsea over the Brazilian.

The Gunners bolstered their backline with the additions of Piero Hincapie and Cristhian Mosquera this summer, however CaughtOffside indicate that Arsenal are ready to step up their chase of Murillo next year.

The report claims that Mikel Arteta still wants more depth in the middle of his rearguard, with the Arsenal manager said to be a fan of Murillo’s “progressive style and his capacity to carry the ball through midfield lines”.
