Real Madrid youngster Endrick is expected to be on the move in January, and his exit from Los Blancos is 'already being worked on,' according to Spanish media.

The Brazilian wonderkid has struggled to break into the side since joining from Palmeiras last year. Endrick arrived to considerable fanfare, but the concurrent signing of Kylian Mbappe swiftly relegated him to the role of a substitute.

Despite not being a guaranteed starter, Endrick still made 37 appearances under Carlo Ancelotti last season, but new head coach Xabi Alonso is not even affording him limited minutes.

The 19-year-old has not played a second of football this season. As was already feared in the summer, his fitness issues and the consequent lack of a proper pre-season have meant that he is playing catch-up.

Unlike during the Club World Cup, when he gave Gonzalo Garcia regular minutes due to Mbappe's absence, Alonso is not willing to experiment with unproven players now when every game is a must-win.

Endrick to leave Real Madrid in January

Due to his lack of action, Endrick is likely to leave Real Madrid on loan in January, unless his situation drastically changes in the coming weeks. Speaking at the weekend, Alonso did little to give the youngster hope of more game time.

Marseille are known to be interested in the teenager, while Man Utd have also been sensationally linked with a move for him. One thing is clear: Endrick will have no shortage of suitors.

According to journalist Pepe Alvarez, it is pretty much set in stone that the Brazil international will pursue a loan exit in January after again being an unused substitute against Getafe on Sunday. He wants to make his country's World Cup squad and simply needs to play.

"Endrick will leave in January," Alvarez wrote on X. "The player has given in and agrees to seek a loan that ensures him playing time to try to have a chance of going to the World Cup. The operation is being worked on."
