Nicolas Jackson's agent drops OFFICIAL Chelsea transfer message
Nicolas Jackson’s agent, Diomansy Kamara, has confirmed that his client will never play for Chelsea again following his loan move to Bayern Munich on Transfer Deadline Day.
Jackson, 24, was placed on Chelsea’s transfer list following the summer signings of Joao Pedro and Liam Delap, and after a chaotic saga with Bayern, he finally joined the Bundesliga giants on a temporary deal with an obligation-to-buy clause included.
Despite this, Jackson has no intention of ever playing for Chelsea again, as per The Daily Mail. The Senegal international believes his career at Stamford Bridge is over and he will not return to west London, even though Bayern appear unlikely to sign him permanently in 2026.
This has now been confirmed by Jackson’s agent, Kamara. When asked if his client will play for Chelsea again this week, he told Canal+ Sport (via The Daily Mail): “Absolutely not. Absolutely not.
“Today at Chelsea, the relationship with [Enzo] Maresca isn't necessarily the best. We're never going to bite the hand that feeds us because Chelsea allowed him to find the European level.
“He was there for two years and scored 30 goals, so he always had a good relationship. After, it's true that the red cards complicated it at Chelsea. Today, we're looking towards Bayern having a good season. We will see what is best for him. But it's true that Bayern is a priority for him for a long time.”
Why did Nicolas Jackson join Bayern Munich?
Aston Villa, Manchester United and Newcastle United were all heavily linked with a move for Jackson over the summer, however he opted to complete a switch to Bayern instead.
“Sadio’s [Mane] experience there [at Bayern] was not extraordinary but he advised Nico to express his identity,” Kamara added when asked about Jackson’s move to the Allianz Arena.
“The most important thing was the manager. Vincent Kompany rang him. He knows exactly how Nico works and removed the pressure of goalscoring. Last season they scored 99 goals. They told Nico: you’re 24, you're young, Harry Kane is there.
“[At Chelsea] they really miss a reference player who understands the No.9 role. He can play as a striker, he can play in the corridors, it's a hybrid team.
“Nico has the ability to impose himself there [at Bayern]. It will be a marriage for the short, medium, and long term.”
Jackson made his debut for Bayern during a 5-0 victory over Hamburg on Saturday and he could feature versus Chelsea in the Champions League on Wednesday night as UEFA rules allow loanees to play against their parent club.
