Chelsea stunned as Rashford helps Man Utd sign €100m wonderkid
Marcus Rashford could reportedly help Manchester United beat Chelsea to the signing of Juventus wonderkid Kenan Yildiz in 2026.
The England international joined Barcelona on a season-long loan deal in July and early rumours suggest that Hansi Flick’s side are open to signing the 27-year-old permanently following an encouraging start to life in Spain.
Rashford has two goals and four assists in eight games since his arrival at Barcelona, and his form for the Camp Nou outfit has even attracted interest from reigning Champions League winners Paris Saint-Germain, according to Fichajes.
Luis Enrique is eyeing a possible move for the Man Utd loanee and a sale would provide Ruben Amorim with the funds needed to complete the signing of Yildiz, as per the Spanish publication.
Yildiz has reportedly been earmarked as a top target by the Red Devils hierarchy and they are eager to beat long-term suitors Chelsea to his signature next year as they aim to bolster the attacking options at Old Trafford.
The Turkey international is expected to cost at least €100 million next summer and he could potentially become Man Utd’s all-time record signing if they are successful in their bid to sign him.
Juventus unlikely to sell Kenan Yildiz
Reports suggest that Juventus have no intention of selling Yildiz in 2026 and they are even hoping to finalise a contract extension agreement with the Turkey international amid increasing speculation of Premier League interest.
However, Man Utd and Chelsea are expected to pursue a deal next summer, while Arsenal have also been tipped as possible suitors for the 20-year-old.
Yildiz, who has four years remaining on his current deal at Juventus, has registered six goal contributions in six appearances across all competitions so far this season, and his Estimated Transfer Value (ETV) stands at €59.9m - the highest of any player in the Juventus squad.
